Beating Cancer with Exercise by David Haas

A cancer diagnosis can feel like a death sentence to many people. Hearing the words "cancer,” “chemotherapy” or "mesothelioma treatment" can drain a lot of energy and hope out of your body in a way that can make you unprepared for the fight against cancer. You cannot let yourself get defeated by your disease. Instead, you must do everything in your power to fight it. Exercise is one way you can help fight against this horrible disease.

Getting into a good exercise regiment can help you focus your mind on something besides your disease. It can help you feel more powerful and more fully in control of your life. Feeling like these are important in your fight against cancer. You can't let yourself feel like you've lost control over who you are and what you want to achieve in life. Exercise can help in major ways.

For example, exercise can help boost your energy and make you feel more fit to fight against disease. According to Dr. Patrick O'Conner from the University of Georgia, exercise can help fight fatigue. He states being "inactive and fatigued" can be boosted by exercise. Exercise helps get your blood flowing and your metabolism pumping. This helps your body run more smoothly and efficiently than it had been while you were inactive.

A more efficiently running body is better capable of using energy efficiently. It is also more capable of fighting of serious diseases and keeping you free from diseases invading your body while you're fighting cancer. Your body is going to need all the help it can get against cancer and exercise can help avoid getting sidelined by other conditions.

Another way exercise helps cancer patients is through helping to boost your mood. Research done by the Division of Cancer Control and Population Services found that people who were physically active had a better sense of self, feelings of happiness, more focus and a better attitude towards their disease. Physical activity activates hormones that help make you happy, which is one reason people feel happier while exercising.

The same study also found that exercise also helps increase the survivability rate of cancer patients. Overweight and inactive patients had lower survival rates and higher rates of remission when compared to patients that were physically active. Avoiding remission is one of the most important aspects of surviving against cancer.

Exercise has many obvious benefits in your fight against cancer. These exercise benefits outweigh the slight risk that comes with exercise fatigue and injury from exercise. Exercise is not a cure and should be treated as such. Make sure to talk to your doctor before making any sudden and serious changes in your physical exercise routine.

Wednesday I will be celebrating 9 months of being Cancer free, How cool is that, Very Cool!

I had another surgery on January 17th in my opinion it is my 6th and final surgery.

I celebrated my birthday on february 24th, ah yes the big 50 hmmmmm I still feel as if I am 5.

Sometimes I still wonder what cancer was all about for me, in one moment I have 100% clarity and the next go figure as I reflect on these last nine months. Perhaps it is the moment where I found myself reflecting back on my journey up until today.

My car decided to stop running this afternoon its a good thing I was tuning off the freeway and headed down hill. (Thank you Angels) My car needs a new timing belt hmmmm everything in its own time, the circumstances could have been a lot worse and I am grateful the sun was shining and I had the means to have the car towed to my incredible mechanic (Kevin at Academy Auto in COS).

Autumn Update 4 Months Cancer Free

A few full moons have lit up the night sky since my last update with summer ending and Autumn beginning last week, I got a nudge to sit down this morning and update my blog.

My fifth and final surgery on August 11, 2010 was a success much more intense than I had anticipated. A few couch Angel days for me as I could not return to work for a month. It didn't take much time for me to get into the swing again as a artist temporarily bar tending after 4 weeks of being off. My body was not quite up to the task and more down time was needed to recover for the next week. It's all good as I continue to pay attention to my body and what it can and can not handle at the present time.

October 2nd I will have 4 months of being cancer free, how cool is that, very cool in my world.

It was the summer of love here in Colorado, I was not looking for it nor did I have any intention of beginning a relationship however; it happened and it feels absolutely wonderful. "Eat, Pray, Love" if you have not seen the movie I highly recommend you go see it.

Working on a new project for daily inspirational living, the 33 paintings I brought through in March are part of this new project, it has its own flow which means I am not trying to force it to happen.

I sold another edition last month to a wonderful couple in Denver, it will be there Christmas present. I was taken back as I listened to my voice mail on the day Sky left a message, saying Illumination reminder her (had the energy of the twins) she and her husband Alan had lost recently. I was speechless as I gave thanks to Spirit for my gift and services to share with all of you. I felt honored as I said "of course I will take payments and would be more than happy to deliver Illumination upon final payment."

Being Cancer Free What Exactly Does That Mean

As of June 1, 2010 I was given my green card for being cancer free. I remember that day vividly as if it was today, I did not jump for joy or do my happy dance. For me the news was a confirmation of what I heard from Spirit the middle of April 2010 right after I completed radiation therapy. I was surprised at myself for not being overly enthused, elated to say the least. What was wrong with me hmmmmmm, not a thing because as I look back now my celebration took place on the last day of radiation therapy (see my post). How do I feel now since I am cancer free, what does mean for me and how does that look like in my world today. Well, it changes each day, do I still have fatigue, pain accompanied with more energy and gratitude in each passing day you betcha! Do I still think at times I can just jump right back in where my life left off over a year ago? Well, it doesn't work that way and I am quickly reminded in a New York minute to unplug, pull back on the warrior reins and settle into this new vibration. For the most part I feel I am playing this new game or the real game with an increased knowingness and the old me sometimes surfaces just to show me what I still need/choose to let go of that no longer serves my highest good. It is so interesting to see who and what show ups in my life as mirrors of my vulnerabilities, residue and my authentic self. Sometimes with big neon signs "oh I know this one" as I stand in observance, or dang I still have some residue to release (thanks so much). Which is pretty cool when you see it for what it is instead of staying stuck in the energy and rehashing it over and over again with different players.

I can not speak for other breast cancer survivors however; I feel we have conquered so much with each rising sun in the morning even when we felt so much darkness inside. I feel each one of us has a special message and mission we are guided to deliver once we have completed our own journey into wellness. There is a bond that can not be broken, we have walked in the same moccasins and have reached into the depths of our being to find the strength and courage we never knew existed inside of us. Yes, my energy/mood was rather introspective this morning it is what it is and the afternoon has arrived so let's continue with Zach's Graduation.

Zach's graduation went off with flying colors, it felt so good to see family I haven't seen in a long time. Zach are I are adjusting to the transition one step at a time, it feels really good and I wouldn't change a thing right now. As I continue to hear trust and flow, observe and support.

The end of May I began working as a bartender three days a week in Woodland Park I feel for the most my body is adjusting quite well. Some days I really feel it after my shift ends and that's OK as long as I take time for Lisa. Bar tending seems to be the perfect antidote for this transition period I find myself in. I am taking a breather from online marketing and networking for my art business and in general from my art. For me it was necessary to let it all go without having any expectations and allowing my beautiful paintings and creations the space I felt was being asked of me. Is it scary in a way indeed it is, do I know what tomorrow will bring no, I do know I anticipate great stuff happening in a really big way.
A change was needed I could not go back to doing the same thing expecting different results. Bar tending is fun for now interacting with people on different levels which includes engaging in mental volley ball, exercising my quick wit satisfying the social buttery fly in me.

My fifth and final surgery is scheduled for August 11,2010 I know it will be a success and my recovery will be in record time (Hahahaha)no expectations just anticipating great stuff. This will be the last of traditional medicine for me, it just wasn't in the cards for me after long meditations and prayers I chose not to take tamoxifen for five years.

My creative energies are stirring painting will soon be on my agenda

Things I Am Grateful For In My Life Today

Today I decided to mow my backyard which is the first time in a year. While mowing my lawn I began to feel the gratitude expand in my body and silently my gratitude list for the day unfolded. It is the simple things in life today that bring me so much joy, you know the out of the blue ideas, feeling the unconditional love from the Angels in the most challenging times, having friends who are present when we communicate with one another.

1. I am grateful for my health and energy today for having the ability to mow my backyard
2. I am grateful for my beautiful home and the Angels who are always with me and play with Sambo and KiKi at times.
3. I am grateful for my 2 feline companions Sambo and KiKi
4. I am grateful for my healthy loving relationships and most importantly the one I have with myself today
5. I am grateful for my Spiritual Team
6. I am grateful for my willingness to move forward even when the little me has had enough
7. I am grateful for my family today
8. I am grateful I have food in my cupboards and refrigerator
9. I am grateful for being me
10. I am grateful for my sensitivities and intuition
11. I am grateful my healing and allowing the journey to unfold and for the most part staying out of the way
12. I am grateful for my ability to say no this doesn't feel good for me staying true to myself. Healthy Boundaries
13. I am grateful for the CT/PETS scan scheduled for Tuesday showing I am healed and cancer free.
14. I am grateful to be released on Tuesday from radiation
15. I am grateful for my hair, eye brows and eyelashes
16. I am grateful I have the energy to workout today I missed jamming to Tina Turner
17. I am grateful I am alive today to see Zach graduate from High School on June 6, 2010
19. I am grateful for the healing between my sister Mary and me.

Next Sunday I am driving to Wisconsin with my Mom for Zach's graduation, wow what a difference a year makes. Zach will be driving back with us and living with me. Hmmmmm new beginnings for all of us.

Moving Forward

Things are looking up and I am moving forward. Sometimes I seem to have selective memory when it comes to my energy level. I was talking with a friend today and saying you know its frustrating to me I can only be in my office for 3-4 hrs. a day as I quickly reminded less than 2 months it was 1-2 hrs. a day. Hmmmmmm still putting a time frame on my journey, I surrender again this journey will be for the rest of my life and it is OK.

Saturday my friend Tom and I set up my art exhibit for the month of May at the Cheyenne Mtn. Library in Colo Springs.

I am showing 11 of my original paintings that can not be viewed online, the exhibit will end on May 29th.

Stop by the library this month to see my original art that can not viewed on line, you just might see the perfect painting to hang in your home or business.

Sunday I worked out for the first time in 8 days and let me tell you it felt wonderful being on my treadmill and lifting weights again. Sambo even made an effort to help me how cool is that. I was planning on being in my garden yet Spring in Rockies well you know it can difficult to schedule this time of year. So instead I went through some papers and binders in my office that have been taking up space some I recycled some I shredded, clearing the energy making room for the new. Well, it did not end there I rearranged my living room moving furniture, plants and cleaning out another cabinet. Yes, I feel the newness in my life.

Today was another nap segment,after being in my office(I accomplished quite a lot)and a few other things, I chose to be a sleeping couch Angel and so did KiKi she jumped up on me and put all of her 19 pounds on my chest we both drifted into a different realm.

Thursday I see my Oncologist Dr. D hopefully blood work, a scan will be scheduled to tell me what I already feel these day being cancer free. I am so looking forward to being in a different kind of Spa this summer verses Memorial Spa last summer.

I felt this would be appropriate for today. I saw my Dr. yesterday and my intentions for my final surgery were thrown into the ether's until the beginning of August. More healing is needed for my body to be 100% before having surgery. So, I am turning it into something good by choosing to engage fully in life. That means for me to honor this process, no emotional attachment to the outcome and stay in gratitude.

New Beginnings

I find it very interesting in how my blogging unfolds, the energy usually begins to stir about a week before I actually sit down in front of my computer to type. Ah living intuitively that is what it is unfolding in its own time, Divine Timing .

My last day of Radiation Therapy was on April 8th I took home my radiation mold(cast)and decided to turn it into something good, a painted sculpture. My skin is looking and feeling much better just in time to see the Dr. on Thursday.

My friend Tom treated me to lunch at The Travern in the Broadmoor. I asked to be seated in the atrium I wanted to feel the leaves and breathe in the oxygen from the all the trees and plants. It was absolutely Divine I felt like I was in Kauai again and yes the wine was spectacular.

Last Sunday I spent 3 hours in front yard rearranging rocks and crystals, digging up weeds and making it look more unified. It felt so good to have my fingers and hands in the earth I lost all track of time. I was the little girl again communing with the fairies, listening as each crystal and rock spoke to me it was so way cool.

While driving home from Denver yesterday morning I received a download for another Spirit Art Necklace, it is a 2 strand necklace made of peridot,onyx, sterling silver and copper. It feels wonderful and I am so excited to bring it through. In the afternoon after a long nap I weeded my Iris garden in my backyard, the fragrance of the leaves smelled delicious it was amazing I never experienced that before. Hmmmmm paying attention to details and being one with nature. Speaking of nature and Mother Earth, one the trees in my backyard who represents the Divine Feminine did not bloom last and part of her branches died when I was diagnosed with cancer. Well,this year she began blooming about 10 days ago. I took that a strong physical sign of my healing and well being. What a gift it is to see her beautiful tiny delicate white flowers I cried for joy the first day I saw her bloom.

This morning I jammed to Tina my workout Hero and it felt so good climbing mountains, walking through the forest and of course speed walking in the sand all of which took place in the comforts of my home. Visualize OK and hear Tina Turner's voice she rocks.

My Dr. wanted to put me on Tamoxifen for 5 years, it is an estrogen blocker and given to most all breast cancer patients in hopes of preventing cancer showing up again. Well, after long meditations, prayers and listening to Spirit this drug is not for my highest good. Once my decision was made I felt so much lighter which for me is a really good thing. One more step in my journey into wellness sometime (my intention) in May my fifth and final surgery.

Final Count Down of Radiation Treatment

Well, I thought I would change the format just a bit by adding my Angel Goddess Hair pictures first, yes I am so proud of my dew.

My energy has been increasing allowing me to jam to Tina again, take walks in the park and even lift weights how cool is that. I have a tendency to go all out on the days I have energy because I feel so good yes, it's still all or nothing with me. My cupboard shelf no longer looks like a pharmasutical company this is a really good thing.

My very good friend Laureen Falco has produced an incredible audio of
Everyday Prosperity Affirmations which I have been listening to every morning before my radiation treatments as well as several times a day. I love the prosperity prayer by Lynn Robinson at the end. I have been working with affirmations for more than 20 years and this CD for affirmations is by far one of the best, I highly recommend this CD for all my friends and colleagues.

Yesterday radiation was very challenging, new markings on my chest over my scar tissue for the electron zapping next week. I felt like an experiment as I lay on the table while Dr. created new lines for the target zone. I began to cry shouting to myself I just want to free, no more prodding and poking, no more tests, no more of radiation my body is no longer available for this process. The voice within spoke "don't give your power away Lisa" I just wanted to leave my body and I did, I landed in the green lush valley smelling the various wild flowers, feeling the warmth of the sun drying up my tears. My body continued to lay on the table from a different vantage point I was free surrounded in Divine Love. I got up from the table put my gown and robe on and headed to the dressing room and feeling really out it. I opened the dressing room door and plopped myself down on the bench sobbing for myself, body and spirit.Before getting dressed I stood in front of the mirror transmuting the energy from radiation. I pulled out the Egyptian cream from my coat pocket and began massaging the cream into my skin as I always do after each treatment. The pain began setting in I spoke "Oh god please help me to help myself, give me the strength and courage to forge through I only have another 11 days of radiation" (last day April 8th) I drove home in tears my body needed a rest a big time out. Upon arriving home I sat in silence on my living room chair sobbing feeling it all. I thought calling one of my friends the wiser part me said no, I was grieving a loss, I was grieving the old before cancer,I was grieving this entire journey. My energy stabilized after awhile and I was able to complete a project I began on Monday as well as make copies of paper work for an afternoon appointment, everything else could wait until today. So needless to say I was not answering my phone hmmm thank god for voice mail.

Today my energy is at a higher vibration which is a really cool thing it has felt like a chemo week, fatigue, aches and pains and they say radiation therapy is no big thing I beg to differ.

A New Day is Given and a New Day is Received

Greetings!

After four surgeries (last one on 2-09-10) and 5 radiation treatments I am healing as I express the creativity on such deep levels. Yesterday I painted 33 small paintings with intentions of using them for thank you notes however; Spirit had a bigger plan an inspirational deck for every day use.

Radiation therapy is challenging as it sucks the life force energy out of you. Last week was my first week and I was feelin it along with a cold and my body being worn out from the excitement of the previous week. Yes, it is all or nothing with me.
So this past weekend I felt well enough for some hard core energy work which I continue daily and with 2 RT treatments behind me this week all is good in this moment.

The benefit on February 20 was incredible the love, the support I was lost for words. My sister Susan flew in from Scottsdale to be a part of the celebration.
In the morning I wrote something for everyone and would like to share it with all of you. It is about gratitude, appreciation, love, joy, compassion and the ability to heal ourselves.

I appreciate you!

I appreciate you for being here today as we celebrate life on all levels
It was and is the love, support and prayers that gave me the strength to show up
Every day even if it meant being a couch Angel.

I remember quite vividly my second stay at the Spa this past August a Doctor walking into my room and saying “Lisa you are really sick” Really I replied. It seemed his sense of humor was left in the hallway. Thank God for my sense of humor my deep connection to Spirit and my willingness to heal when the pain seemed to never end, well it did.

Right from the beginning I knew I was going to be OK because I had the best team physically and non-physically to help me along the way.
Here I am today feeling very blessed, my journey is in the final stage with radiation therapy beginning on Tuesday, all is well. Even though a few more stages were involved its OK because today is what matters.

I love you thanks for showing up in my life.

It is in the beingness we are fully present to our inner Spirit.
It is in the beingness we receive the clarity for our next indicated step.
It is in the beingness we learn to appreciate, love, honor, respect and forgive ourselves.
It is in the beingness you/I learn to let go truly let go and feel the good, bad and ugly, transmuting all that no longer serves our highest good; embracing the darkest and most remote area/aspects within our being deep within our soul.
It is in the beingness we/I are shown and easier softer way. First we must say yes to the journey and the unknown to feel every aspect of the jungle to experience to freedom.

My Journey into Wellness Continues

Before I begin I ask that you take a moment of silence for all the people in Haiti that all what is needed will be provided food, medical supplies, water and the healing of many souls.

LOVE-COMPASSION-STRENGTH-HOPE-TRUST AND FAITH

As I sit in front of my computer sharing my chair with KiKi(my cat)and listening to the sound of the Sacred Drums I have the energy to share with all of you.

My second surgery on 1-11-10 was successful 12 more lymph nodes were taken from my left side all negative for cancer however; my margins are still not clean. I was more mobile after this surgery and the following morning woke up feeling great as I began my prayer work followed by an incredible meditation. In this meditation a Sapphire crystal band wrapped around my neck which transformed into a beautiful necklace 'The Healing Necklace" made out of Lapis, Garnet, Citrine and Swaroski glass beads which I brought forth the following Saturday.

I spent the day with my girlfriend sister Juliann, Tom and Mitch. I felt great we laughed like kids however; my energy was depleted by late afternoon and the next couple of days I was out it.

A picture is worth a thousand words as you can see I wasn't was feeelin it!

Arriving home from Tom's on Thursday 1-14-10 feeling a little better I decided the best thing for me was to continue to rest well let's just say I paid attention to my body. I saw my Oncologist the following day and Radiation therapy was discussed, hmmmmm I had done the necessary clearing work on this subject and felt 98% OK about the next phrase of my journey into wellness.

Saturday I had enough energy to celebrate my nephew Trevor's 21st birthday (1-17-10) with his some of his friends and of course Juliann and Mark

After a wonderful dinner at Giuseppe's we headed over to my house since Trevor wanted to wanted to go out to the bar at midnight ah the memories of turning 21 yes we were all feeeelin it!

Well, the midnight hour was fast approaching and I was so ready to call it quits they all proceeded to the bar without me.

The following Tuesday 1-19-10 was my Dr's. appointment with Dr. P as well as taking out my drainage bag I was so ready for that. Well, Dr. P was concerned about how my left little girl was looking the bruise was turning into a burn and the pain was still pretty intense. She suggested I make an appointment with Dr.H. I walked out of her office with Tom in tears my emotions were going 100 miles.

I was able to see Dr. H on Thursday 1-20-10 after looking at my left little girl there was no way I could begin radiation therapy, he suggested another surgery the following day. He gave me 2 options to choose from explaining each in great detail he left the room for a few minutes for me to make a decision. Yikes clarity now Spirit take this now because I am in total shock. How much can my body take apparently a lot. I opted for option 1 removing the implant and inserted and expander after cleaning out the infected area. Well, all Ritee then I am so there with you not I was still healing from my other 2 surgeries. Leaving the office in total shock doing/feeling my best to process all that transpired. I called my Mom and I am having surgery tomorrow her response was "Lisa what time do you want me to pick you up"
This all too surreal I was back home with Tom at my side and girlfriend sister Juliann on her way down the pass I decided to create a fun crazy day and that is exactly what it was. Thanks so much!

Surgery was a success and I spent the next few days at Tom's with another drainage bag. Sunday morning was the first time I took the bandage off and OMG for all the women who have gone before me you are my heroes. The tape pressed to my skin so tight it was extremely painful just taking it off, tears rolled down my cheeks as I sat on the toilet seat in pain I heard my brother Andrew's voice "be strong Lisa be strong". I stood back up and facing the mirror and was able to completely remove the tape only to see my left little girl no longer there. Oh what a moment, I began to shake wobbling I sat down again speaking my version of the Lords Prayer. Yes, this is temporary and it will change however; in that moment it was devastating and I knew if I did not feel all of this at my very core it would resurface at later date.

Gee I am feeling tired how about you? just a bit more to report so hang in there perhaps get another another cup of coffee.

Spirit my support team have such a wonderful way of showing me how much I am loved and supported. A few hours later I began to get a nudge to check my email the nudge became more intense and I said OK I will. One of my emails was from a friend of mine who I had first met while living in CA. Subject line: Angel from your past I thought it was from my girlfriend Valerie here in town. Reading the email and feeling the energy my heart was filled with joy with tears rolling down my face this is my friend Valerie who currently lives in the DC area. We had lost contact for many years and I could not remember her last name for a google search. It was all making sense now I have been thinking about her quite alot these past few months. Thanks Valerie for your persistence I love you.

Yesterday, (1-25-10) I had my first consultation for radiation therapy, it was a good thing I had another pair of ears my Mom. Information overload I flashed on my first consultation for chemotherapy with Dr. D back in May what a journey it has been.
Well, I guess I am the exception for the traditional time frame for radiation therapy being 5 weeks longs 5 days of week. Since I just had my third surgery on Friday time is needed to heal and being that my margins still are not clean a 6 1/2 week program I will begin in February. I stated my intentions just as I did to Dr. D smooth sailing for this therapy.

Tomorrow is my biological son's Birthday, Zach will be 18. He graduates in May with plans to attend Welding School and then joining the Navy following his Grandfathers footsteps. If you remember my post in August my 2nd stay at Memorial Spa clinging for life the majority of my family showed up which was the beginning of great healing for my family. As I saw my sister Mary Therese(Zach's Mom)and Zach walk in I felt well, there are no words to describe the feeling. What it took for the two of them to fly from Wisconsin on a moments notice was huge and even today as I write I get the chills with tears of joy rolling down my cheeks. It had been five years since I had seen Zacheriah and 9 years since seeing Mary Therese. It doesn't matter what it took for the healing to begin what's important is this now moment.

I have had so many powerful experiences this month healing on the cellular level, fine tuning my connection with Spirit as well as so many going far and beyond what I ever imagined. Thank You Pamela, Janet D., Janet S., Bob P., Karen S., owner and founder of "Satiama", Athene, Janiece, Tom, Valerie T., Laureen, The Metaphysical group,Step Up To Success, and of course my family. I love you I love you I love you!

On New Years Day I wrote "The Things and Experiences I Choose to Manifest in 2010" and some I have already experience how cool is that. I intend to participate in "The Walk for Life" the last weekend in June 39 miles total. Yes I Can! Yes I Will.

Keep On Keeping On

Many moons it has been since I sat down and wrote, my intention was to blog while in Scottsdale, before my surgery, and before Christmas well, all that is behind and today is a new day. I want to thank you all for the cards and emails this past month it meant so much to me. My response has been basically nil and void and I apologize for that.

My last chemo Light infusion was on November 23rd as usual it was successful, my sister Christine was my chemo buddy for the day. It felt so good knowing this was my last session and I was ready to board the plane in the afternoon for Scottsdale. This was the last time Isabella and I shared space.

I arrived in Scottsdale at my sisters Susan's with smiles and triumph another phrase behind me. We headed out the following morning for our dream vacation to Rocky Point "Playa Dorada" a private beach in Mexico.
So many gifts beyond my imagination. One day Susan and I were sitting under our little hut on the beach and I said how cool it would be to see the Dolphins today better yet how about within the hour. Well, to my amazement a school of Dolphins showed up just I felt just for us happy as can be doing flips and playing in their play ground how cool cool is that.

The synchronisity between Susan and I was amazing the entire were together either I would be thinking something and Susan would voice and vice versa. Mind you Susan and I come from opposite ends of the spectrum yet here we sharing space in such an intuitive way a gift in itself. Such a gift my sister has given one I will treasure this for a life time.

I spent the following week relaxing in Scottsdale, visiting Art Galleries, watching movies and visiting various restaurants. It was a time for healing on many more levels yikes how levels and layers are there hmmm just kidding it is the path I have chosen. One day I took 3 hour bike touring parts of Scottsdale with no end result in mind. The freedom of being on a bike left me speechless as I even tried the no hands riding and was quite successful at it. I remember as a kid and young teenager my bike was my safe haven for me just jumping on and riding until my legs had nothing more to give. It is my intention to begin regular biking in the Spring once the weather is warm enough and my bike is in top shape.

I arrived home a week before my surgery with many intentions of doing in between Drs. appointments and scans needless to say I was somewhat of a basket case and did not get much accomplished my energy level was not agreeing with my intentions how rude is that. Actually it was divine order once I got out of way.

The following Monday was the big day Surgery double mastectomy, reconstruction and taking out my port. I was excited and scared all at the same time this was the final stage in my journey so I thought. The following morning I met with my Dr. she mention a few flags in the pathology report and I would have to wait until Friday for the complete results, as far as everything else it was a success (I know I'm really feeelin the pain thank you very much. I knew at that time I still had cancer in my body it was a knowingness as well as the voice of Spirit sometimes you only want to hear the good news however it goes with the territory of being and empath and intuitive. Hmmmmm is it too late to change my mind about the path I have chosen.

Friday was Dr. day and sure enough the report came back my margins were not clean and the little critters got into my nodes "F" I said what else could I say after already knowing,yet to hear it in the physical was big. My next appointment was with my oncologist for a routine visit. All was well just a little dehydrated so I was sent to chemotherapy department for hydration and 2 hours later I fixed up exhausted and ready to go back to my friend Tom's house who was taking care of me. What we take for granted our arms I was quite surprised at all I could not do for myelf and needed to stay with someone after the surgery. I am so grateful for my friend Tom who took such good care of for 9 days. I arrived back home on last Wednesday to a clean house with fresh flowers thanks to my sister Paula and brother in law Sonny

Christmas with family was wonderful, Christmas Eve was celebrated at my Mom's home it is a tradition we started many years ago. Something very special happened this year and that was my Dad made his presence known by knocking over a rose vase my mom has had for many years, no it didn't break. I said to everyone that's Dad showing up wishing up a wonderful Christmas and to pay attention more. Susan her son Travis and his girlfriend Sarah stayed with me until Monday it was a special time, memories to keep stucked away in my treasure box. One of the best things I love about the holidays is listening to Christmas music feeling the Spirit and the actual meaning all of it.

So my journey into Wellness continues with my 2nd surgery scheduled for January 11th 2010 to remove the remaining cancer until then I continue to heal from the first surgery and find myself being able to reach and lift more everyday. Hopefully I will be able to drive by the weekend how cool is that. Very Cool I must say myself.

Moving Through The Stuff

Here it is already Sunday and I am still in my pajamas I guess it was a pajama weekend and I'm really feelin it. After major shifts and changes this past week it feels so calm today. I even jammed to Tina Turner on my treadmill and lifted some weights how cool is that.

Friday was major shifting not really feeling good emotionally or physically, so I decided to spend sometime in bed. I thought I was going to drift into dream land hmmmm that was not the case. I was prompted to sit up a bit and just gaze in my creative art shade ready for anything at this point. I began a conversation with my guides and found myself walking along the beach engaging in conversation. We were both wearing blue jeans feeling the waves brush up against our feet, smelling the ocean, and listening. So much unconditional love was present I won't go into details it was rather personal. This particular guide is one of my mentors and bud, his name is Jesus. After this an idea popped into my head a candle light dinner for myself how cool is that. Feeling relief yet still pretty out of it, I decided to get out bed and take action. First, I went to the recycling center symbolic physical sign of cleansing. Second, I went food shopping and treated myself to an organic grass fed steak and other goodies symbolic physical sign of nurturing.

My candle light dinner was so way cool I even dimmed the lights can not remember the last time I did this, it felt so good. An example for creating joy in your life. Yes, I did forget I had cancer with all the joy going on.

My visionary art greeting cards are hot off the press and I am so impressed with the end result. I created a handmade pouch out of card stock water color paper for the sets you know that something special the little girl in me loves creating things like this. The packets are in cellophane bag for added protection.

Feeling Good after Chemo Seven

Well, I am doing something different and that is blogging on the same day of my liquid Light infusion how cool is that. Life is Good! Isabella (my dew) stayed at home today which is also different this time.

My chemo buddy today was my girlfriend sister Juliann we had so much fun laughter was the prominent energy and my Mom showed up for support. The nurses as usual were incredible they are truly there for each patient. When the nurse asked my name you know that confirmation stuff I said Deva we all laughed, Juliann's comment was oh girlfriend you are too much (Perhaps)

Time passed by quickly today the infusion was completed in 2.5 hours, Juliann thanks so much for all the laughs.

Feelin all the good stuff today much better than my previous treatment, hmmmm maybe its all about my morning meditation yes I'm feelin that one.

My original art paintings are is now on display at Penrose Public Library downtown on Cascade in Colo Spring so come on down during the month of November and feel the energy of each painting in person they are all available for purchase.

You may or may not be wondering why I have changed back to this blog well, there are still issues with my word press blog and it just hasn't been on my priority list.

As of yesterday I am in the process of beginning another greeting card line my samples will be ready on Monday. It feels really good yet a bit scary at the same time do I buy into fear that I feel or move beyond it and trust all is well. By taking the action I chose the higher road and it feels really really good. I chose 5 images for samples only 5 images for the first run. These will be blank greeting cards 1/2 page on high quality glossy paper with title and important information on the back side. With size you can actually frame the cards and give away as gifts or keep for yourself how cool is that. Below are the images I chosen would love to get your feedback.

Tomorrow I will be attending Sense of Security Annual Gala Fundraiser in Denver with my friend Tom. This was the first organization I reached for help after my diagnosis. I believe in paying it forward so I got the hit to donate one of my original paintings with all proceeds going back into the foundation. I will also be giving a short speech about my journey into wellness and the impact Sense of Security has had in my life a true blessing all divinely guided by Spirit.

Well, my meds are ready to be picked up so I guess this is it for now. I'm lovin my energy level I have.

Approaching Phrase 3

Well where do I begin how about right here feels pretty good to me.
Another chemo Light Infusion last Friday two more to go. I was anticipating to have more energy with the steroids based on past experience boy was I wrong. What came into my awareness was the past has nothing to do with the now and why would this be any different. My body is not in the same shape as it was when I first began my treatments back in June, needless to say my trip to Memorial Spa in the month of August did not help matters. (Thank god that is all behind me) Turning it into something good I am bigger than cancer.

Great friends, It's All Good!

Yesterday I had a consultation with the reconstruction surgeon to discuss my options. This Doc was from my list when I first got diagnosed intuitively I knew he was the one so I made no back up plans. The consultation was successful, overwhelming and information overload. I walked out of the Dr's. office feeling like I did when I was first diagnosed with breast cancer back in May. I sat in my car somewhat numb I wanted something else to occupy my mind, so I decided to help my friend Tom with some more packing in his moving adventure. It worked for the time being and I was able to help a friend.

The creativity continues to flow and I feel so very blessed my second shade was completed last week. I love it as I lay in bed and am so reminded of all the support and love I have in life. The painting has many stories as well as many faces of my guides, Angels and Light being. I move right into another dimension as I sit or lay in bed looking at this creation. Black Onyx, Labradorite, Lapis and Amethyst are the beads chosen for the bracket.

I completed another Spirit Art Painting for a women in New York wow a burst of energy in this one. You see in the midst of this chaos there is Divine Order and I am so grateful for my connection to Spirit. When it is time to paint no matter what I paint and move beyond the confines of my mind and physical being. This one I painted upside down however; with these type of paintings it does not surprise as each direction reveals a story for the client. 10-13-09

Right after I painted Jill's painting another one wanted to come through. I showed my Mom the painting after my chemo infusion. She asked what do call this one. I replied and said I have not received the name yet. Sometimes the title pops right in, with this time for integration was needed. So later on in the afternoon while sitting in my backyard with journal in hand I asked for the words and name.

This is what came through.
Climbing the ladder within the waterfall the ladders representing emotions stepping stones along the way for integration feeling the presence of my people (non physical). Becoming one with the expressions that are painted on the surface. Take time for the stepping stones along the way, they are ther for a reason. Slow down spend more time with self in silence, yes this is a platform form for integration honoring the process, feeling it through to completion. Forward and Upgrade into the expanded you commend yourself , honor and be feel the freedom of what once held you bondage it is now transmuted. A season has ended anew one beginning as you now have fresh perspective of your life's journey. Be still and know that I AM God. You are the creator of realities. What are you choosing today? Soon after this I received the name Harmony and Balance.

Today as I walked into my workout room ready to jam to Tina Turner on my treadmill my new prickly needle side effect presented itself. I turned threw my head up laughed and said out loud I am bigger than cancer and proceeded to have a great workout. I pushed myself and it felt really good it was a win win situation.

I will be the featured Artist in November at Penrose's Main Public Library downtown on Cascade in Colo Springs. 15 paintings on display and yes, there are available for purchase.

Today is a Blessing

This morning feeling a bit out of quilter perhaps I needed to stay in bed a little longer. My journaling this morning was all over the board which really isn’t a bad thing, de-clutter the mind to receive clarity. My journey meditation that proceeded was on direction even though it was challenging to keep present I did receive direction for the day. I thought I would be working out by now instead here I am blogging and that’s OK.

My 5th chemo treatment was a success no major set backs just moving at a slower pace. My girlfriend Valerie was a big support during my treatment laughter was the theme we had so fun. Yes, we were the poster children for Chemotherapy.

Wrapped in the Wings of the Angels

Have you found your wings?

Are you soaring like an Eagle?

Are you paying attention to the subtle signs of being guided by Spirit?

Are you grateful for all you have in your life? Running water, a toilet, your voice to speak your truth, your mind, your heart which is the strongest muscle in our bodies. A happy heart is a grateful heart.

The other day I pulled this card out from my cabinet I created in 2000 and every morning when I sit down in front of my computer there it is staring at me, a reminder of how loved and supported we/I are in every moment. I needed to have this present as these last few days have been very challenging for me emotionally, physically and spiritually as I found myself traveling to the depths of my being once again. Did it feel pretty, no quite the opposite however; the energy pushed its way to the surface for examination. So today I was guided to blog and insert this piece I wrote in 2000 it is as much for me as it is for you.

The Vibrancy of Life

The other day while walking the isles in Safeway I became aware of the strength in my gate and the pace at which I was walking. I stopped, stood still in the middle of the isle feeling the gratitude well up inside of me smiling from cheek to cheek I was in the zone feeelin it big time.

My 4th chemo Liquid Light infusion was on Sept. 4th once again my Mom was at my side. No complications with this treatment as of today a few side effects some new it’s all good I can handle it.

OMG What Happened To Me and My Body

It feels like another life time since I last wrote actually that very well could be a true statement for what I have been through this past month. Well, here it Mondays 2 days later and I'm still writing this. So, let's get busy.

July 30 my girlfriend Valerie took me took the ER I had excoriating pain which continued to persist regardless of what I did. I was in the ER for 5 hours X-rays a shot a morphine which do a thing for the pain. The Drs. were in a squander I knew it was the chemo drugs too toxic for my body. I was admitted to the hospital f or the next 10 days. My girlfriend Marilyn arrived while I was in the hospital. Now that was a joy in itself since we had not physically met and had known each other for over 10 years. I convinced my Dr. to I was healthy enough to be discharged after being poked and prodded though various tests. I just wanted to go home. Marilyn and I spent the next two days hanging out and having fun even though my energy level was extremely low.

Physician Heal Thy Self

Where shall I begin. When I opted in to be part of a clinical study I did the research on the drugs and their side effects. Little did I know that I would be hit so hard with so many side effects all at once. Well, its all or nothing with me why would this be any different. It is my hope and desire that the research being done in this study will truly benefit and be a win win situation for all future breast cancer patients

The day after my 2nd infusion while on my treadmill my big toes began to hurt I thought it is my tennis shoes, it progressed into what is called HFS. I began with the ice packs, mineral salt soaks double dosing on the tree oil. It seemed to help and I was thrilled. After feeling on top of the world on my Mom's birthday the follow day I began to spiral I thought OK time out I will bounce right back well that wasn't the case. I had plans to go to the Botanic Gardens in Denver on Saturday with friends even though my feet and hands were hurting I said yes I can do this which probably was not one of the wisest choices I have made. Do I regret it no, the gardens are beautiful and the tropical rain forest is spectacular thoroughly every moment with my friends Valerie and Rachel.

Cycle 2 in Phrase 2 Still Shinning with My New Dew

Humor is a must with my journey so I decided to insert this video just for kicks from my chemo infusion last Friday. Enjoy and laugh

OK so my journey continues with many things behind me.
11 days into chemo my hair felt it was no longer fit to be a part of me, do you believe that. It happened very quickly and within two days I looked pretty much like the character from Lord of The Rings. It was devastating Thank God that was just a one time deal and happened very quickly, within 3 days I was bald and received a new dew that looks like my real hair. I even gave my new dew a name Isabella well, actually she named herself and I accepted. It took me 4 days to process and not to cry wondering who this person was as I looked in the mirror. Affirming I am not my hair yeah right give me break well, in a short period of time I was able to get it, really feel it, believe it and understand I am so much more than my hair body etc. I am finding for me that processing on all levels at lightening speed really makes a difference as well as my connection to Spirit and oh yes a sense of humor in all things big and small. By the way I am told I have a really cool head hmmmm my multi dimensional self is really shining and I'm feeeelin it. My sister Susan sent me beautiful silk scarves on the days I don't feel like waying my new dew. I have worn 2so far and getting the hang of how to wrap them hmmmm the newness continues.

I gave my port a new name "my magic box" how cool is that. As I was about to receive my infusion I said to the Nurse I am so ready for my Jack Daniels now hmmmm thinking feeling let me upgrade to something better and as I said that liquid Light was singing in my mind. Wow I felt and resonated with all of it especially having a magic box fully activated inside my body. Always turning it into something good seeing the bigger picture even though I may not have 100% clarity which is probably a good thing for me as my guidance team knows that all too well I would never want to stay in body.

I had a great weekend even though I was exhausted from chemo on Friday for the most part it didn't seem to stop me on Saturday and Sunday. I rented 2 movies after my infusion "Atonement" and "Ink Heart" I highly recommend both if you have not seen these. "Atonement" was the my choice for Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday I watched "Ink Heart" while on my treadmill. I did 6.5 miles with out missing a beat I know my meditations and invocations I recited as well as the magic of Ink Heart while on my treadmill were the key elements.

Feeling Great

I have been surprised, in awe, thrilled, excited, joyful, saddened and knock to my knees in phrase two while showing up and embracing the now moment.
Last Friday I began my first chemo treatment my sister Paula supported me with her laughter and big heart. I decided to have my pictures taken beginning with the first treatment and will continue until my last treatment which will be November 6th, 2009.

The day before the day of and the day after chemo infusion treatments I take Steroids (Staroids) for the sole purpose of inflammation and the intensity of the chemo drugs. Steroids are given to people with severe cases of rheumatoid Arthritis for inflammation which I did not know until my sister Susan explained all of this to me, yes it is pay off. Well, in my case Saturday morning I woke up feeling like myself which has been close to 2 months wow I was rocking and ready to jam to Tina Turner, mow my lawn and even go out dancing in the evening and then I remembered what the nurse told me in chemo teaching. Lisa do not over it because this is the result of being on steroids for 3 days. So needless to say I was a model patient hmmmm. I take oral chemo drugs the day of the infusion for 14 days and then will be off of all chemo drugs for 7 days and begin the whole process over again.

Sunday I had to put down my kitty Missy which was more difficult than I had realized. She began leaving me presents and no matter what I did from Reiki to EFT for animals it didn't work. Sambo was distraught as well, KiKi on the hand was rather thrilled to now be the only female in the house I guess I don't count.Today Sambo is back to his normal little man ways he's the King.

Monday I was knocked to my knees what I had in mind for the day truly flew by me in a New York minute. It was a good day to pull the covers over my head which I did on and off. Did experience feel good moments in that 24hr period yes I did and it was way cool.

Tuesday I had my post opt surgery appointment all is well with my Port. Experimenting different sleeping since I love my sleep. I also got fitted for my hair Tuesday afternoon and even though my body was still experiencing some effects it was so much fun. Jennifer at Strands here in Colorado Springs I highly recommend even if you just want to try a new look. Once I was fitted for my hair we play with different style dews just for fun. OMG it was like I was able to put a face to some of my aspects we rocked perhaps I will post those at a later date.

Wednesday I got up ready for the day with the intention of working in my office,
making phone calls, perhaps even working out. Well once again it was all about surrendering and just showing up. My internal pipes decided to take the day off how rude, well to make a long story short I now have such a deep compassion for people who experience this as well. If you have ever given birth than you know how intense a contraction can feel my body had a few that evening before I felt the stillness.
While sitting out in my backyard before the contractions began I had the most incredible experience. I looked up in the sky and there floating sporadically several
brilliant pink orbs glistening my heart opened and expanded in such a big words only seem to diminish the experience, this lasted a little over 60 seconds. It was the Light Beings, my Star Family and of course the Angels making they presence known to me. I don't think I could have asked for anything better than that about how much I am supported and loved.

Thursday I rocked I was able to write my story for the day and everything I experienced was just how I wrote out in the morning. I did my sit ups yoga stretches and even lifted some weights. Worked in my office for awhile and was able to get alot accomplished in a short period of time. I took myself out to lunch at Smiley a restaurant in downtown Colorado Springs they have such delicious food. I sat outside and enjoyed the sunshine and blue skies it was beautiful. After lunch I had fun purchasing art supplies and canvases from there I dropped off Egyptian Cream at my Mom's. I spent an hour in Safeway a little off and that's OK I got job done. The bonus I cooked dinner for myself grilled red bird chicken it was delicious.

This morning I jammed to Tina Turner it felt so good. 30 minutes of speed walking climbing up mountains held off on the running though you know I didn't want to over due it.

My evenings with Marilyn continue, and last night a baby Hawk showed up in my backyard while we were on the phone another sign how cool is that.

I have incorporated ary-on in my daily regime for my nose as of yesterday, its all good. This is truly an education in itself and I continue to learn and discover so much. I now have a point of reference for my future treatments as far as preparation is concerned how cool is that.

Phrase Two I'm Showing Up

I closed the chapter on phrase One effective Sunday evening with a successful 2 day show in Woodland Park. I had met one of the founders of "Satiama" an online international gallery as well as a place of spirituality enhancing Life's Journey. Wow this a gift from Spirit as I was just asking for someone to take over my print section and it happened on Saturday afternoon as Karen one of the founders was looking for another artist. She shared her story of her passion she and her sister had and the beginning of Satiama, the feeling was incredible words only discount it.

Although I had an unexpected visit to an ENT Specialist last Wednesday due to a discrepancy showing up in my left nasal pharnyx on the PETS/CT Scan all is well and I was given the go to proceed with chemo.
Phrase 2 began Monday morning with the Port surgery and another biospy for the clinical study. Once again I was so grateful for the incredible care and attention to detail I experienced before during and after surgery. I thanked Dr. P. for the successful surgery prior to me going under since I probably would not see her again until my follow up appointment which is scheduled for next Tuesday.

Yesterday morning I had a bit of a scare with my body going into shock and convulsing as I lay on my bedroom floor. A big wake up call for healing being my main focus and my body getting use to the Port a foreign object.The stress of cancer has a way of doing that and I did not realize my body was under the amount of stress, so my body spoke to me loud and clear. The paramedics came and my vitals were stable enough,since the last place I wanted to be was the hospital. Again it is
big sign of all the love and support I have in every moment.

Today is much better as I am really taking it easy for me hmmmmmm. Chemo treatments begin tomorrow for 24 weeks with my last treatment on November 6Th, 2009 it is already marked on my calender focusing on the end result and honoring the process even when I am not sure what that means I just show up and say yes to healing. The good news it will be just over 5 months how cool is that and a little down time before my surgery. So if I have not responded to you in my usual manner with emails posts, phones calls now you know the reason. I feel much better having another set of steps a game plan for phrase two and will continue to shine in my melt down flaming moments.

This is quite an education process to say the least from knowing the exact supplement to take and not to take during chemo. Alot of my supplements I was taking no longer apply and defeat the purpose of chemo so new supplements and vitamin's are being implemented. Yikes this was big for me in adjusting as I found myself becoming angry that there is something really wrong with this process however; it is the process I have chosen along with my guidance team in hopes that I can help assist and make difference for the women of the future.

My evenings with Marilyn continue we talk every night and it is such a gift. Monday when I arrived home from the hospital I had a package from Marilyn. A beautiful oriental box red and black I loved it already. Inside the box was a 2x2 metal of St. Christopher which was Marilyn's mother when she was alive OMG the tears rolled downed my face what an honor received such a gift. She also sent a prayer wheel necklace it is absolutely Divine I was sure what it was exactly as I have never seen anything like it before, stashed on the side was a crisp hundred bill.

New technique for me layering with tape was the the second process after I painted the surface. I got the idea one morning while I was doing my legs lifts you never know when inspiration is going ring your door bell.

Now at first sight you may or not see all that is going on. Let's just say my galactic family decided to make their presence known.

As I completed this painting I felt so serene and knew all is well. Many layers, many perceptions, many discoveries along the way. I also received many other physical gifts from a breast cancer Angel Pin from my friend Janiece, to an organic beef tip stew along with many other organic goodies from my friends Valerie and Kevin, to a delicious dinner from my sister Paula and Sonny after the show on Saturday night and oh yes lots of laughs, to my mother showing up on Friday with delicious blue berries and being with me on Monday, to my Friend Marie Rose dedicating her class to me with all proceeds going into my fund.
Cancer is teaching me to ask for help and receive it graciously it is not something I have done in the past it is humbling. I have cried more tears of joy with all the support and people offering to help and just show up. Spirit continues to show me tid bits of the larger picture and why I chose to sign up for this.

Houston We Have A Small Issue

Well, here I am one week later with a more insights, magical moments and yes a burst in my bubble and its all good. Last Monday I met with my Oncologist Dr. D. that's when my bubble bursted regarding my 5 week plan (the one I came up with) quickly dissolved as the one year plan was presented to me. Lesson here is to honor each step of the process and yes I am learning patience. Again more information for me to digest on the entire process which including another set of steps even before my first chemo treatments. Lesson here honor each step of the process and yes I am learning patience. Dr. D. is one the best in his field which was quite evident as the conversation unfolded. At one point in the conversation he said Lisa have you seen the movie "What The Bleep" yes I have and it was/is a great movie. We discussed the cells and I said each one of our 10 billion cells holds Divine Intelligence he looked at me and said that is an interesting way to put it. Again with the steps in front of me I said OK lets focus and I set my intentions. This is where the magic continues all of my intentions I set for scans, chemo teaching, surgery for another biopsy fusion of Port and follow up appointments have manifested. I will be in chemo therapy for 6 months beginning the June 1st,2009. I have opted to participate in a clinical study why you might ask for the simple reason of if I can assist in bringing more light to the surface than so be it. The clinical study uses a more aggressive approach than in normal chemo treatment. One of the stipulation was my Her2needed to be negative and I was told by Spirit as walked into my house on Monday it was and then received confirmation from the Dr's. office on Friday I was negative hmmmm is there a bigger plan yes. So now that we have the linguistics out of the way I want to share more magic. Dr D. You Rock!

May 19th Tuesday as I was jamming to Tina Turner Live at The Amsterdam on my treadmill I received the rest of my painting which I had intended to sell at my next show in June. There before me was this beautiful template for healing, pink with rhodochrosite crushed into the painting and a silver spiral in the center.
This painting is only the beginning of the Journey into Wellness Foundation, which resonates at a higher vibration than cancer research study. All proceeds will go into funding alternative therapies as well as research and assistance. I was blown away as what I was being shown. Do I know all the steps no and that's OK I continue to be open.Products will be T-shirts, limited editions, greeting cards, magnets, tote bags and so much more.
Tina Turner is such an inspiration she truly rocks
Rhodochrosite healing properties balancing the lower chakras with the upper chakras expanding and uniting into the heart. When I was studying the electronic bodies I learned silver carries a very high frequency uniting white and black male and female yin and yang.

I also downloaded a highly energized healing bracelet for myself as well as for others who are on their own journey into wellness. You see how I am so supported in this process I feel so blessed and loved by all the support I have received and continue to receive in both worlds as I continue to bridge the gaps between Heaven and Earth. I choose to show up no matter how I am feeling and acknowledge myself as the Shining Star.

May 22nd Friday the RN at Memorial who is in charge of the complimentary healing therapies greeted me I felt something so familiar about her. As I sat down she pulled from her pocket a gold bag the ones I sell with my prayer meditation beads. OMG there in front on me was strength tears welled up and she said do you remember me. Now I do. We had met last year at the Woodland Park Holistic Fair I had a booth and she had brought my book as well the prayer beads which she carries with her everyday. How cool is this very cool and so magical. So after my composing myself I said can I get woo woo with you and she said please do. I shared with her my painting and vision I had as well as showing her my healing bracelet which by way has not left my wrist. Wow Lisa this is fantastic you are such an Angel.

I also had a moment a clarity about having the willingnes to begin this blog, and that was I do not have to continue to tell this story how cool is that. When people ask I now can say read my blog I choose to focus on shining my light, being with my friends and family and sharing all the really cool creations I'm bringing forth.

The metaphysical group I am involved with here in COS has been so very supportive thanks so much for all your love, light and healing I appreciate each and every one of you.

My sister Susan continues to be my confident in the medical world with her knowledge and her willingness I love you Susan. Yes, I did have a melt on the phone with her yesterday as we were discussing all these drugs and side effects. It is my intention with my vision that there will come a day when these drugs will be known only as how it use to be, and with the advanced technologies as well as the blending of eastern and western medicines no longer will it be appropriate for such drugs to be used. Call me naive yet there is this bigger picture I have seen and its really really cool.

My Journey with the Violet Flame Pac Man Action

October 2008 I noticed a small on growth/cyst on my breast so I got out my books on alternative healing Louise Hays was amongst them. I began working more with the Violet Flame of Transmutation, clearing cellular memory etc. and than went about my business not giving it any power. I did not have a family physician that's just not part of my life. Well, 2 1/2 months ago I looked in the mirror and said holy shit bat man whats going on. My very dear friend Valerie checked my breast who just happens to be an ER Nurse and my ex art framer said Lisa you need to get this checked out. OK so my first priority was finding a physician it all flowed like magic. My first apt. was on April 24th for a physical exam you know all that routine stuff blood work, as well as the typical women checkup since it had been years. Well I knew that all would come back free and clear and it did.

On may 7th 2009 I had a mama gram and ultra sound the red flags went up and the Dr. wanted to do a biospy right away. OK I said lets do it, he was and is the most compassionate Dr. that I have ever experienced in life. I asked for him to explain the entire procedure before I stepped outside. The biospy was performed 30 minutes later(after I was told it would be a 2 hour wait,the magic began)in 3 different places. The results would be back on Tuesday. That's when I got scared and spent the weekend in my backyard, which is so magical by the way. Made a few phone calls to my people and received more clarity on the bigger picture.

On May 13th my Mom and my sister Juliann came with me as well as many Light Beings, Angels and my Father yes, the room was a bit crowded with the Dr. and case manager. I told I had invasive lubular breast cancer which only 10% of women get and has a much better success rate of never returning and full recovery. So the shocked began sitting in as I tried to write in my journal, Bridget the case manager said Lisa you don't need to write any of this done because this 3 ring binder is for you. OK where do we go from here as I felt the love and the presence of everyone in that room including my Father. First we need to make and appointment with the surgeon and she will discuss the best route for you. OK lets make an appointment for tomorrow that nots possible. She called the fist surgeon and nothing was available until June 10th no that is not going to work. Bridget then put a call in to the other surgeon and it was busy, Lisa don't get your hopes up well I knew in my heart I would be seeing a surgeon the next day. Well, it just so happened that the surgeon had a cancellation and was able to see me the following morning at 9:30 how cool is that more magic flowing.

Walking into my my house with my mother at my side I said aint this bitch I have fricken cancer after all the work I have done what's wrong with this picture. Yes I was venting yes I was angry confused and very overwhelmed and in no mood for meditation stillness. I wanted to be in a different reality and not deal with it and that's exactly what I did that evening. Juliann and I had so much I got drunk and won 280.00 how cool is that(yes,I got the OK from Spirit to get wild for the night and I'm so glad I allowed myself)

May 14th Juliann and I met my surgeon and right from the beginning I trusted and felt very confident in her abilities to take care of me. We discussed the process I now have steps a plan wow this is cool. Since my lump is large chemotherapy is the best route and then surgery. OK lets start Chemo tomorrow I said, no that's not possible OK next week then maybe the Dr.replied. Well, I have an appointment on Monday with the Oncologist to discuss the best treatment for me. More magic flowing.
That afternoon I had coffee with my friend Valerie and a very good friend of hers just happens to specialize in hair treatments for chemotherapy patients. The both of them gifted me hair I cried what a gift more magic. I said to Valerie there is the possibility I may not loose my hair, that's true Lisa Valerie responded however; if you do now you will have hair and don't need to be concerned about standing in front of mirror one day with OMG now what am I going to do now. Valerie also found a really cool visualization for chemo patients that I intend to make into an audio this coming week.

May 15th I had chest rays and more blood work done that wasn't included in the first it flowed again the magic is present.
In the afternoon my sister Susan arrived from Scottsdale for the day before heading to Grand Junction Friday morning her son Travis graduated from College on Saturday.
What is so special about my sister Susan besides her unconditional love and support
is this: her background is in oncology radiology peds and she was involved with the group who invented the Port for chemo patients. So she has been able to review my 3 ring binder knows some of the Dr's. who will be taking care of me and even knows my surgeon, so is there peace in knowing all of this yes along with the
knowledge I have gained since Tuesday.

More magic continues to show up in every moment as Spirit is right there at my core giving me hits and let me tell you I am paying attention and feeeeelin it. The support and love has been incredible and I even hesitated when I got the hit to blog about this because that meant me putting myself out there telling you I had breast cancer. So here I am showing up and if just one person is inspired by my story walking away saying yes I can then I know it was well worth the ride. I have a feeling it will be very healing for me as well as I continue to show up sharing my the Violet Flame Pac Man Action.

My intentions are set I will get through this with flying colors yes many rainbows and shine in every moment no matter how I show up feeling. I have set the intention of be able to work out while in chemo treatments and perhaps even drive my myself to and from treatments. My main focus is allowing the magic to unfold in each and every moment there is a bigger picture here and yes some aspect of myself probably thought it was OK to manifest you know hey lets experience this and see how this feels and see how strong and connected you truly are. That is a layer one level of many that are happening right now. I do know the work I have done and my connection to Spirit the I that is I AM has paid off for I would not have the mind heart set I do. So I asked Spirit to take of all the physical stuff right down to my finances and I will solely focus on my healing and if that's means just being then so be it and you know what I heard "you will be taken of". So I may not be around much online networking etc. I am already getting hits from Spirit about that one. Just be and receive create beautiful creations that will come to you in this journey. I have already begun visualizing my future self and let me tell ya she rocks like never before.

I am very grateful that my Mom, and my sisters Christine, Juliann, and Paula live here in Colorado Springs as well as my dear friend Tom. I have made my apologies up front just in case one day I am flaming and I forget to say my code word which is Leave It. So for now my bases are covered.
I will keep you updated with the chemo and how I am shining and what I am creating.

1. Live from a place of Gratitude= Greatness realized awakened the inspiration to unify dedication everywhere, I personalized for you. I realized the greatness within and awakened the inspiration to unify dedication on all levels within me to be my best in all I do. Keep a daily gratitude journal you will be surprised how this daily action can truly change your life.

2. Read inspirational books with famous quotes in it that you can pick up at time. Here are a few “Everyday Wisdom” by Dr. Wayne Dyer; Emerson, Catherine Ponder, Rumi are wonderful and very uplifting.

3. Smile more often even when you don’t feel like it, your energy actually shifts every time you smile and you vibrate at a higher frequency. How cool is that to happen when you smile and it feels really good.

4. Stand in front of your mirror and say out loud I deeply and completely love and accept my self follow it with a hug. Go ahead just do it even if you think it’s silly.

5. Stop watching the news for one week and notice how different you feel on the 7th day you might even want to begin this practice of less news. Choose another way to begin and complete your day perhaps an inspirational book, write in your gratitude journal or fall asleep listening to a visualization meditation.

6. Find out what sparks you; you know that feeling when you get the chills filled with excitement and then go do it. If you are not clear about what sparks you take out your journal and just begin writing really ask yourself and be open to receive a message how ever it may show up. This is your inspiration calling you.

7. Go to an exhibit in your local area see, check out the “what’s happening section in your newspaper. Could be an event is coming up that you have been wanting to see. Check out spiritual cinema for great inspirational movies. There is a link to this website on my links page.

8. Write yourself a love letter and spritz it with your very scent/essence and carry it around with you a wonderful reminder of how special you are.

9. Try something new each week or if time permit something new each day it could be as simple as reading a new inspirational quote. Take a different route to work or when you have errands

10. Spend time in nature and really experience the beauty of Mother Earth. She is a great teacher on allowing and being nothing is forced in nature everything flows in Divine order the ebb and flow the cycles. For every season there is a new birth of creation.

Have there been moments in your life when the warrior energy the masculine was out of balance, I will raise both my hands to that one. Meaning the doer in us is always doing and doing more, this creates imbalance. It is not until we recognize become aware of our stuff, we continue to spin our wheels like the hamster that spins and goes no where just recycling the same old stuff.

The positive aspect of the warrior (how I see it) is when the male and female energies within are balanced and operate in harmony. The give and take a time to be, a time to do, a time give and a time to replenish.
Ponder this for a day or maybe even two. Flow into the Deep Sea and feel the positive energy of your inner warrior.

In The Garden

An inner garden that is safe and loving, where you can be yourself without the judgments, the toxins, and the negativity which seems to be running rapid these days in the media. You can choose something better NOW it is your "Safe Inner Garden" where you will find unconditional love, acceptance and true understanding as you begin to nurture yourself and experience all that is desiring to bloom just for you. Yes, your hopes, desires, dreams all begin from within. Perhaps just by sitting still and viewing the painting it will ignite the light within. See if you can find the child in the painting it is there which I did not notice until the painting was completed.

It very interesting I am finding many of my earlier paintings want to come out and play and so I began last week intuitively choosing well actually they chose its all the same isn't it. I love the innocence in this painting it reminds of a book my Mom gave to my brother (David) and I when we were 5 and 4. A big picture book of the plant kingdom and the front cover was a little girl and boy which I always felt was David and me.

The security of your home you create in the outer is a direct reflection of the safety and peace that you find and experience in your inner garden.

The power of the spoken word fluent as it is carries many vibrations and tones and is most effective when it is aligned in one’s center the power house of storage. When emotions are cleared, speak with confidence and precision letting go of the outcome, stand firm in your power with a deep knowingness and command it forward into the physical. The word is actually the signature of ones vibrations set out into the universe picked up like radio waves, if it is not clear static is only heard and fulfillment is not attained meaning manifestation.

Beliefs need to be examined old programs discarded in order to speak from your authentic God self. This is why it is so important for one to be clear and aligned with all your bodies of energy connecting mind and heart spoken with authority commanding it to be. Leaving doubt, confusion and control out of the equation. You can not have 2+3=4 nor can it be forced by self will or manipulation allow the Divine flow like the ripples a wave forms perfect in its process.

I wanted to share the process of how a Spirit Art Painting is created.
Jean'ne is my most recent spirit art as always I feel so honored to be of service in such a way. So what is a spirit art all about....

Spirit art paintings are original paintings of individuals where I am the vehicle of what needs to come through in each painting. You could view it as a reading with a visual aide. I paint with my fingers as I feel the energy flow through me, I do not choose the colors or what is being painted. I am the messenger. As I paint I receive messages and so I am able to combine a reading with each painting, what I receive I write down with out editing the information.

The benefits of having a spirit art portrait

2. A different perspective on the non physical personalizing it to fit you since it is all about you and your relationship to Spirit.

Once upon time there was a little girl with big brown eyes her name was Lisa Ann she loved her family dearly even though she knew she was from a different space and time. Her interactions with her siblings were gently guided by her star family and even though she felt so different Lisa Ann's smile created a space of a beautiful golden rainbow that glowed in here siblings heart. Lisa was content with all the differences for it gave her an opportunity to adopt and become a delightful chameleon feeling deep compassion and love for her entire family. Knowing her purpose and mission was to inspire millions (later on in life) with her gifts she came to share with the world; she flowed with the everyday scenes and has created a colorful tapestry she has called life on planet earth. It's all about Love and Divine Inspiration

This morning I woke up to the word love in my thoughts/mind and as I breathed in love I chose to make my day all about love. My cats were not happy with my decison as they needed to wait just a little longer for their morning meal however; it was important I stay in bed to experience love a gift from Spirit. The love of self, the love of Spirit, the love of my home, the love of my family and friends, the love of all my beautiful creations, the love of just being and the love of having a whole new day to create Heaven here on Earth. So the intent was made and I began my day and oh my cats very happy as they always get fed before I pour my morning coffee. And, as I do every morning I sat at my kitchen table and began writing it is my communion with Spirit and even though the negativity wanted to rule I focused on love in its purest form and proceeded to tap (EFT) and then went into meditation. Even though I am experiencing some challenges in my life (maybe you are too) I choose to focus on love and be grateful for my life today. Choosing consciously, setting the intent, making the decision and letting go of the rest.
Let's make February all about love one moment at time.

Making Peace

As I opened my blogger to create a new post I was prompted to listen to "Heart of the Mother" by Marina Ray beautiful serene native American music. It is so soothing and comforting the perfect antidote for this now moment.

Making peace with where your at however it shows up its OK. Easier said then done for me it was yesterday letting go of all resistances and being that scared little girl not knowing what to do next. It seemed I ran out of options and the only thing showing up were the tears running down my cheeks. You know that gut wrenching deep surrendering cry that afterwards you feel better just for giving yourself permission to cry and be in such a vulnerable state. The volcano erupting only to find peace in the after math.

Today I felt peace when I woke up even though my eyes were swollen it was OK I had a brand new day I had hope I had faith and I went about my business after communing with the great I AM within.

Many are being challenged right now, the many faces are being dismantled that no longer serving our highest good. When we give birth to the new sometimes it may involve the labor pains until great joy is felt deep within. I refer to it as the ascension process letting go of the old and welcoming the new as our vibrations and frequencies are upgraded, our bodies go through the shift as well sometimes experiencing temporary ailments. Finding peace, finding relief, seeking joy in the stillness ahh the stillness how soothing and comforting it is.

If are going through a challenging time know that I walk with you in spirit as does the great Spirit within. Is not part of the plan to know thy self on such a deep level that no matter what is going on in the outside world you can still feel peace within.

If you are in a really great place in all areas of your life how cool is that, Very Cool! perhaps you could seek someone out and lend a helping hand or just show up with a smile.

Completion of ebook project

Well,
I am happy to report my ebook and website went live Tuesday morning. The comments have been wonderful and deeply appreciated for my gifts were given to share and inspire others to manifest the beauty that lies within each of us.

I attended a CEO Space Networking meeting last Thursday in Denver and part of the meeting was on creating a 30 second snap. You know your 30 second elevator introduction well, it kept changing over time/years. I was not able to get clear enough at the meeting to allow the flow I was trying too hard and it just wasn't happening. Well, yesteday was the day I was going to work on it since my project was completed and I had more room to receive was my comment I made to Sian Lindemann(who is a member of CE0 Space)during our converastion in the morning.

Well, on my way to Walgreens in the afternoon I had a really cool experience and this is how it evolved. I heard this very soft powerful voice saying as I parked my car in the Walgreens parking lot. The Muse the I that is I AM
"I am a visionary artist,intuitive and writer who bridges the gap between Heaven
and Earth through my Divine Inspirational Creations and Paintings."
I wrote it down before going into to Walgreens. Aha this is it my snap. The feeling inside was peaceful loving and so powerful wow I love this.

Challenges Seeing the light at the end of the tunnel

Happy Sunday,
Indeed it is!
Yesterday I began working on website for my ebook I was excited and so ready to dive right in to the creative flow. My prelaunch page was very easy and so I set the intention of website being the same. Well, I got stumped and didn't know why it wasn't working I was doing everything right I thought and indeed I was. I opened 2 other browser and still seeing the same result. Yikes Angels what is going on as I sat in front of my computer screen in sheer frustration with tears rolling down my cheeks. I kept hearing relax Lisa call for help OK let me try this one more time hmmm does that sound familiar doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Right in front of me I knew was the solution I just couldn't see it, I needed to shift and let go.

I surrendered and did call the support team it was something to do with my cookies that was not enabling the full page to display. I updated my flash cleaned out my Internet explorer settings and Whoa! everything clicked.
Determination, perseverance and the keep on keeping on attitude along with my inner wisdom allowed me to forge through into greener pastures.

You see I have a dream and that is to inspire millions through my art and Divine Inspirational creations and sometimes challenges show up for us to see the bigger picture.

Never ever give up on your dreams, hold steadfast with a clear mental image and you will be shown another way for there is no one quite like you with gifts and talents the world is waiting to see. I believe we all messengers of the Divine creating Heaven here on Earth.

Well, I wanted to write share some thoughts before I left for Denver this afternoon.
So much clearing is taking place and sometimes it feels so uncomfortable just being in my own skin at times. (I wonder if Mother Earth is feeling the same) I know you can relate to this. My mantra has and is releasing the old welcoming the new for I know and believe I am always guided and protected to my highest good. The way showers the light within the soul shinning through the wonders of a new earth.
A piece I wrote from my book "Ageless Beauty" popped into my mind this morning while I was in the shower rejuvenating my body and mind after a 3 mile run on my treadmill. You see I have a belief that we can stay youthful, healthy and young at heart until we choose to leave our bodies. Which is part of the letting go of worn out programs, beliefs and cultural coding that have us buy into this thing called death. As I looked at myself in the mirror I noticed the thinning of my hair I said "it doesn't have to be this way, I choose a different way and affirmed once again releasing the old welcoming the new.

Ageless Beauty

I see the line fading into another
age a simple reminder of an older age.
For now I have changed into yet another
age no longer bound or confined in this
day and age.

I see beyond the pearly gates illuminating
an age of timeless beauty. For what has
decayed is but a thought of a limited me
whom I have chosen to set free into an
ageless, timeless beauty.

Today I experience a life so true that is
filled with blue my home sweet home.

Transmuting The Old Welcoming The New

With the new energies coming through and our frequency/vibratory rate quickening sometimes it can be very challenging to hold our focus on what we truly wish to create. Today I had many challenging moments as the old was being released coming to the surface to be transmuted, transcended and transformed into the Light. (The Violet Flame) So just right before I was preparing to write the excerpt from my book integrating the shadow floated into my space, hmmmmm how appropiate for this moment.
Something very magical happens when we truly surrender and if that means we say our mantras 100 times a day then so be it keep on keeping on.

I have traveled side by side with
my shadow for many years
succumbing to its power and will.
Choosing to fully integrate one day
I asked my shadow “what is it you
want from me.” The voice answered

This morning while walking up mountains and running to Tina Turner Live at The Amsterdam DVD. The thought once again floated in "What If", something I have been playing for a while now. I unraveled the energy which led me to one of my designs "Wonderland" (Alice in Wonderland) however; it was Lisa in Wonderland with the image filling my space, a matrix of endless possibilities. So I wanted to share this with all of my friends.

Stuck What Exactly Does That Mean

Today while taking a shower I had another profound moment it is a regular occurrence for me something about the water cleansing my aura and rejuevenating my spirit. As I was visualizing the water being the liguid golden light a thought came in. One is never stuck it is just an illusion. If our thoughts create our reality which is fact then we are always moving since are our thoughts are ever changing. I pondered this and it was in that moment of clarity the program the illusion was nipped in the bud. Shifting our perception just by one degree can alter the outcome as we choose to identify and let go of the old which no longer serves us.

So if your are feeling stuck think again and shift and ponder upon this. Check what is masked or hidden, consconsious or unconscious, by journaling. Let it flow and feel it really feel it using your body as a compass. Play with it, make it fun, if it is not fun the ego will show up as a form of resistance with Yada Yada Yada Yada

It is love of the great knowingness we all connected as one
It is love of service
It is the genuine giving of seeing the sun rise in another
It is the blending of the physical and nonphysical the mind and heart in union as one

Flow with the energy
Flow like water trickling down a stream
Flow ebb and flow
Just flow and allow the magic to happen
Flow as you get out of your own way
Flow with creation whatever that might look like in the moment
Flow as one into the higher realms dance with the energy bands spiraling in and through all dimensions and beyond
Flow feeling love opening whispers

We spend a good a portion of our lives searching in all the
wrong the places for some type of fulfillment.

It is not unt we begin to journey within and establish a
relationship with ourselves and God that true fulfillment is attained.

Today I choose to begin to search within for the answers I been
seeking all of my life.

I honor myself each step of the way respecting the process
as I am true myself
So be it so be it
